Since Bamboo Belgium started with designing and producing stylish, timeless and sustainable bamboo clothing in 2004, we have welcomed many special and beautiful partnerships and friendships.

Meet Veronique from Altijd Mooi, Together with four women she started the Always Beautiful initiative. For women, by women.
Through her professional activity, making hairpieces, the idea grew to give women affected by cancer the opportunity to feel better about themselves and feel more beautiful.
A survey quickly proved a great need for their project. ‘Above all we experienced that these women find it very unpleasant when they have to tell their story again. They are looking for a central point of contact, where they are helped in every possible way, both physically and emotionally.
That encouraged the quintet to pool their knowhow and power. They want to offer each woman the help they need. ‘Even women who are sick still dream, regardless of their recovery. It is our greatest passion to make sure they don’t give up’.
Today, Altijd Mooi offers five advice centres in Flanders and Brussels (two in Brussels, Braschaat, Leuven and Zele), however the ambition is to bring this concept to other places in Flanders, Belgium and even over the borders in the future.

The Bellawear story comes from manager and founder Kelly Eerdekens. Who made her unfortunate situation due to an undiagnosable illness her life’s work. Kelly would eventually be diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and as a result of her illness received a permanent stoma bag.
Picking up the threads of her life again, she reviewed her activities and critically assessed her needs. She discovered that the offerings on the market were not the right tools.
After a long search for appropriate brands, fabrics, and models, she set up Bellawear in 2014, a brand that serves the most essential needs of stoma bag wearers.
Bellawear continuously innovates and works on new products. Kelly worked in partnership with Bamboo Belgium to develop stoma bags, boxers and knickers. Kelly noticed that if her skin around her stoma bag was sensitive and fragile, it healed much faster when she wore a bamboo cover.

Because I have also as a woman had experience with which questions, needs and concerns you have during a chemo session, the choice of hair pieces, wearing prosthetics and customised lingerie and maintaining your natural appearance’.
That is why at Carré Care you will be received in a separate atelier to choose together with Els your hair piece, prosthetics and lingerie. At Carré Care care and attention are paramount.

Fina is een hele samenwerking gestart met een xx. XX heeft een bedrijf in hondenriemen, die ze maakt van gerecycled materiaal. XX was al een tij d op zoek naar een ander grondmateriaal wat geschikt zou zijn voor haar honden halsband- en uitlaatriemen. Bij toeval kwam zij Fina tegen en Fina gaf haar de reststand stoffen Bamboe die overblijven bij de kleding productie in Portugal. XX ging aan de slag met geweldig resultaat. De riemen zijn verkrijgbaar in de webshop.

BambooLogic is the first European player in bamboo that delivers un and half processed bamboo to European industry.
They are planting bamboo fields in Europa with their eye on the fast growing demand for bamboo and organic based alternatives for steel, PVC, hardwood, composite materials and cotton.
BambooLogic is trying to encourage businesses make the step to using renewable raw materials, that are better for agriculture, the climate and the economy.

In partnership with Bamboo Belgium, Bamboo logic are working on establishing the first bamboo pulp factory in Europe.
When they have succeeded in this venture, no more bamboo pulp needs to be shipped in from China. Just think what impact this will have on the environment, but also the liveable wages and working standards, not only in clothing, but in all industries.
BambooLogic is de eerste Europese bamboe speler die onbewerkte en half bewerkte bamboe aan de Europese industrie levert.
Zij leggen bamboe velden aan in Europa, met het oog op de snel groeiende vraag naar bamboe en biobased alternatieven voor staal, PVC, hardhout, composietmaterialen en katoen.
